5-y-o Brown Gelding
City Honours (USA) – Boreen Perky (IRE)
RECENT PURCHASE Sneaky Pint 5 year old gelding by City Honours from the family of Pragada. I purchased this cracking youngster in December from Cormac Doyle after he’d shown a good level of ability in maidens including being 3rd at Knockinroe to Blackjack Kentucky who recently sold at Cheltenham for 100k. It was the fastest time of the day by a long way and this lad travelled smoothly until making a bad mistake 3 out but to his credit he stayed on well to be 3rd in what looked like a decent maiden. He’s a tall, leggy individual at the moment and we won’t see the best of him until next season, and I think he’s an exciting prospect. He is going pointing initially which will be a great stepping stone for him. He’s a lovely sort and I was very happy to have been able to secure him for my new owner.
Eastern Dragon is a winner of 11 races and placed 17 times. Thoroughly consistent winning from 6 furlongs to a mile. He goes on all ground and is straightforward and a lovely horse in every way. He’s now back down to a mark of OR77 after going up to 80 in February. Perfect for a racing club or syndicate as he takes his racing well and he’s been a star for his owner. He’s been schooled over poles and has taken to it well and really enjoys jumping, so he’s a horse to also think of for hurdling. Dragon is a very sound horse, which you can’t say about many that have run as many times as this lad, and is open to vet
Arcal Fifty 8 year old gelding. Placed several times in competitive maidens in Ireland before running in UK points last season, running well and being consistently placed. I purchased this lad for my owner towards the end of the season and he ran a good race to be second to Max O at Garthorpe. On this occasion he was held up and came with a good run. Point to Point rating of 82. He jumps and travels well in his races and should easily be able to shed his maiden tag next season or alternatively he looks likes a horse for a maiden hurdle. He’s straightforward, sound and has no vices. He’s currently still out at grass having his holiday. Genuine reason for sale.
Trafficker is the winner of two chases, a hurdle and a point to point. OR 95 over fences and 105 over hurdles. Point to Point rating 89. Purchased for my client to go pointing with last season, he proved an easy, safe and straightforward ride, being placed at Chaddesley Corbett, Ampton and Bangor. He also qualified for the Timico Final at Cheltenham. A season pointing really sweetened him up and he’s an ideal horse for novice rider and club races. He’s on a competitive mark of 95 over fences, so going back under rules is also an option. Out at grass still having his holiday but now ready to be brought back into work. Genuine reason for sale as owner cutting down on his horses due to work commitments.
